Stepping into a new office can be overwhelming! But fear not, we've got your back! Here’s what you need to know:
Biometric Access
On your first day, you'll need to complete the Biometric Access form to gain access to our facilities. For parking door access, please reach out to the front desk.
Our Food Operations team is like the culinary wizards, conjuring up scrumptious meals and snacks to fuel your endeavours! Dive into our cafe website and prepare your taste buds for liftoff! Your purchases are automatically deducted from your pay at the end of each month. Please be aware that the 25th of the month serves as the cut-off for each month's deductions. Any purchases made after this date will be reflected in the following month's pay.

Every Friday at 12:05 pm CST, join us for 'All Hands', a company-wide meeting that brings all hands on deck! This weekly rendezvous is your ticket to staying in the loop, where we celebrate victories, shout out kudos, and keep everyone in the know about all things Vendasta.
But wait, there's more! For our Vendastians in India, we've got a special mini version of 'All Hands' every Friday at 6:30 PM, called 'Weekly India Meeting', focusing on matters close to home (India). You'll get the lowdown on this during your debut week, so get ready to join the party! And guess what? You're the star of the show—our new hires get their moment in the spotlight too!
Note: The Weekly India meeting is mandatory for all Vendastians in India. Can't make it at 6:30 PM? No worries! Folks starting at 7:30 PM can catch the recording from the Weekly India Gspace.

At Vendasta, your probationary period lasts for 3 months from your first day. During this time, it's all about ensuring you hit the milestones outlined in your scorecard through training with your manager. It's also a chance for you to determine if your role here is the perfect fit. Expect 30-60-90-day formal reviews with your manager to track your growth and training progress.
You’ll gain full access to additional benefits upon successfully completing your probation. However, some benefits are available from day one, including:
Onsurity Health Insurance
Public transport fare reimbursement
Food services
The Payroll team will contact you to provide further insurance-related information, and you’ll receive a benefits card from the Onsurity Health Insurance team.
Our paydays typically fall on the last day of the month via direct deposit.
If the dates happen to fall on a weekend or bank holiday, fear not! You'll get paid on the working day before. Just make sure all your new hire paperwork is squared away at least 3 business days before payday to ensure a smooth transaction. Any paperwork received after this cutoff will push you into the next payroll cycle.
Your salary will be deposited into an ICICI bank account. If you don’t already have one, no need to worry! A team from ICICI visits our office every month to address queries and assist employees in opening accounts.

Vendasta currently operates under two dress codes, depending on your position within the company.
If your position falls within a sales role, we do ask that you dress to the business effective dress code. If your position falls outside of this capacity, you will typically fall under the casual dress code. Find a quick summary of both linked here.
Vendasta offers reimbursement for public transport and parking expenses, ensuring you can commute without worrying about extra costs. Here’s how it works:
Eligible Transport: Reimbursement is available for public transport options such as MTC buses, metro, or sub-urban trains. Please note that ride-sharing services are not eligible for reimbursement.
Monthly Reimbursement: Your reimbursement for a given month (e.g., May) will be paid out with the following month's salary (e.g., end of June).
Submission Deadline: To receive your reimbursement, submit all necessary proofs by the 15th of the following month (e.g., by June 15th for May expenses).
Submission Process: Submit your proofs using this form. Keep an eye on the announcements channel for reminders to submit your documents.
Contact for Queries: If you have any questions, please reach out to the finance team in Gchat.
Note: This reimbursement will be added to your paycheck.
Cab services are provided for Vendasta India employees as follows:
Pick-up and drop-off: Available for those working the 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM shift.
Drop-offs only: Available for shifts ending at 9:00 PM and 11:30 PM.
To use the cab service:
First-time users: Post a message in the date's thread on India-cab-details GSpace before 3:00 PM with your location and shift time. Once you opt in, cabs will be arranged for you at the same time daily by default.
Regular users: If you do not need the cab on a particular day or if your schedule changes, you must update the same GSpace thread before 3:00 PM.
If there are no updates, it is assumed that you require the cab service as per your regular schedule.
Note: The cab service is a free perk designed to make our employees' lives easier, not a personalized taxi service. To operate efficiently as we grow, we optimize routes and timings based on employee availability. This may occasionally result in adjusted pick-up or drop-off times or additional stops on your route. While we strive to minimize inconvenience, some delays or changes are unavoidable.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If the service doesn't meet your needs, you're always welcome to make your own travel arrangements.
We have dedicated parking spaces for Vendasta employees:
Bikes: Please use the second-floor parking area. If you need access to enter the office via the parking door, kindly fill out this form and inform the receptionist. You may also park on the ground floor, which is a shared parking area, but this is primarily recommended for those who find it challenging to navigate the parking ramp.
Cars: Car parking is allocated based on availability. Please check with the receptionist to be assigned a space.

What is BambooHR, and how do we use it?
BambooHR is Vendasta's Human Resources Management (HRM) system and the single source of truth for your People Operations needs.
BambooHR is a platform administered by People Operations to empower our teams through common partnerships like recruitment, hiring, onboarding, time-off management, document management, and more.
You will have been granted access to BambooHR from the People Operations team upon your start date. You can log in to BambooHR by using this link and clicking the 'Log-in with Google' to log in through single sign-on (SSO). 🙌 Make sure you bookmark this link! You're sure to use it often.
In the "My Info" section, navigate to "Documents" to access a treasure trove of employee documents accumulated during your Vendasta journey. From employee options information to merit increases, internal offers, letters of employment, and beyond, it's your archive of career milestones.
Navigate to the "People" tab atop your screen for instant access to the employee directory—a stellar tool for locating colleagues or groups based on name, title, department, and more.
Additionally, explore the org chart to see how the Vendasta team is organized and how different teams fit together and collaborate.
From the BambooHR homepage, access the time-off module to monitor your paid time-off balance, review past usage, and even calculate your future time-off balance.
Ready for a break? Inform your direct manager and click "Request Time Off." Fill in the details, and submit. Your request will be sent to your manager for approval.
What is Lattice, and how do we use it?
Lattice is Vendasta's People Success platform, serving as the central hub for employee engagement, performance, growth, and development. Managed by our People Operations team, Lattice enhances communication and collaboration between team members and their managers. The platform supports:
Weekly Updates: Stay connected with your team’s progress.
1:1 Meetings: Schedule and document productive one-on-one sessions.
Goal Setting: Define and track personal and team objectives.
Performance Evaluations: Conduct and review performance appraisals.
Growth Tracking: Monitor career development and progress.
Development Planning: Create and follow individual development plans.
Employee Engagement: Participate in surveys and provide feedback to foster a positive workplace culture.
