When it comes to food at Vendasta, our Food Operations team prepares delicious & delectable options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks that keep us well-fed, healthy, and happy throughout the day. Seriously, they rock 😍

Breakfast

• Daily breakfast specials are served at no cost on the 16th floor between 7-8 AM. 

  • Tip: Bookmark the vCafe page on the Intranet to see what the vCafe is offering each day. It gets updated weekly to reflect the tasty new offerings.

• After 8 AM, breakfast can be made to order, but please note that this does come at a cost of $3.00, which can be deducted directly from your paycheque—how handy🙌

• Alternatively, each floor’s kitchen will be stocked with a few grab-and-go, quick breakfast options that you can access at no cost. Help yourselves!

Lunch

• Daily lunch specials, soups, sandwiches, and more are served on the 16th floor between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. 

• Lunch offerings served on the 16th floor are a paid meal item, of which the cost will be deducted directly from your paycheque. The typical price of each lunch item is as follows, though is subject to change based on the item itself. Please refer to the daily pricing menu on the 16th floor for exact prices.  

  • Daily lunch special: ~$6.00

  • Salad: ~$6.00

  • Sandwich: ~$3.00

  • Soup: ~$2.00

  • Other: ~$1.00 (Items that change daily)

• Visit the Vendasta Cafe app to conveniently charge your meals to come off your paycheque. There are also QR codes posted at the 16th floor kitchen to scan with your phone for quick access to the app

Snacks

• Daily snack specials are served on the 16th floor at no cost from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM to fuel your afternoons, while quantities last for the day. 💪 

• Additionally, each floor’s kitchen will be stocked with a few grab-and-go snack options that you can access throughout the day, as well, at no cost. Help yourselves!

Drinks

• Complimentary coffee with 2 tasty choices—a Brazilian Blend and a signature Vendasta Blend— are available at the beverage station on the 16th Floor near the Vendasta Cafe.

• The 12th, 14th, and 15th floors will also be offering the Brazilian Blend coffee—and several other hot beverages available at no cost.

• Ever have the concern that there are never enough cans of pop in the fridges? Food Operations offers a Coca-Cola fountain station with a selection of 8 flavours also located at the beverage station on the 16th Floor.

**Please remember when accessing any kitchens throughout the building to keep the common spaces as clean as possible—no one likes starting out their lunch by cleaning up after someone else. If you make a mess on the counter, please remember to wipe it up. If the dishwasher is running, please rinse your dirty dishes and place them in the tub provided in each kitchen.**

Personal food items

If you decide to bring your own lunch, make sure to store it in one of the small silver fridges placed throughout the workspaces, not in the common kitchens—or risk it having been mistaken as up-for-grabs and enjoyed by a colleague, instead! 😅

Questions/concerns

On a serious note, we do always like to remind the team that having food in the office is a perk—not a right—and negative comments or complaints will not be tolerated. If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, however, that needs to be addressed, please inform the Food Operations team. The Food Operations team does their best to provide a variety of choices to suit a wide array of diets but will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions or upset stomachs.
